Cassie's Place was established out of a pursuit to inspire and support individuals living with a developmental disABILITY. Victoria Street, founder of Cassie's Place - My daughter Cassandra was born with epilepsy and a developmental disABILITY. As a result of trying to balance my work, family and life, I thought it was in my families best interest to devote my life to helping Cassandra both medically and developmentally. I was determined to help her be the best she could be. Special Needs Programs are far and few between, and although some may be lucky enough to find employment, the vast majority are left with little to do. It was this that led me to the idea of developing a program where individuals like Cassandra could go. Hence, Cassie's Place was born.
To inspire individuals with disABILITIES to live more independently by recognizing, respecting and building on their gifts and abilities through advocacy, empowerment and education.
